I stood for election because I wanted to make a difference for my local community, and that hasn’t changed.

This week I’m writing to people who supported my campaign to let them know I’m not giving up. I’ve learned so much and made so many local connections, and now it’s time to build on that.

Getting into local politics is one way to have an impact, but I know from my campaigning experience that sometimes you can achieve more from the outside.
