I found out this morning that my campaign group Save Our Safer Streets won its court case to save our Low Traffic Neighbourhoods from destruction by the Mayor of Tower Hamlets.

This is a huge win for people power. We’ve shown that thousands of people right across our community value the safety, clean air and shared space the LTNs bring, and don’t want to lose them.

It also shows that standing up for things that matter to local people is worth it. I’m even more inspired to get elected to the council so I can keep pushing to change things for the better.
